Gelami is a site for opinions and reviews that started for the fun of it and the challenge to find the perfect ice cream. The goal is to take stock of ice cream shops in Milan but in future also those of other Italian cities. Gelami starts and ends as an opinion, not meant to express an objective opinion, we just want to be a guide to navigate the many existing ice cream. In haute cuisine usually we let the critics to the experts, but when talking about such a simple and affordable food as the ice cream we all have a chance to say what we like, confident that our opinion will never be underevaluated.
Gelami Gelati is that section of Gelami with reviews of shops in Milan with comments, best taste, individual prices / kilo.
We ordered the ice cream in two main categories:
- Normal Ice Creameries. To indicate where the classic ice cream is purchased but is consumed elsewhere.
- Ice Cream "at the table". To indicate a new type of ice cream that is spreading in various cities. Here the ice cream is made and consumed in a cosy placethat offers tables, chairs, with a range of products going from ice cream to the number of coffee-related products.
