GELATERIA GELATO GIUSTO

Comments: It's an ice cream shop opened a few years ago in Via San Gregorio, a side street of Corso Buenos Aires. The two owners are particular people. Their story, told in a brochure available at the counter, explains why their ice creams are so good and cared for. This activity, indeed, wasn't born out of the blue, but was the result of years of studying different schools, not only in Italy (apparently, Victoria Bortolazzo, has studied pastry in England and is "specialized" in chocolate in France). Moreover, this ice cream since it opened has become widely famous not only in the area, but even around the all city. Note apart for the reception:It depends a lot on the time of day. In some cases extreme courtesy, if you are confused on the taste you can sample different flavors and be advised on what to choose and match, in other cases the reception is a bit 'cold and even rude.

Cream Ice cream: A few tastes, but all very good. There are some classic ones and some original ones that change often. Among all the very excellent ones are almond and fiordilatte.

Fruit Ice cream: good but not as special as the creams

Other: handmade chocolates and chocolate

Where: Via San Gregorio 17

Cost: 2.20 euros two flavors the cone, the cone 2.50 Large 18 euros per kg

CHOCOLAT

Comment: inspired by the famous film, this small place is a perfect blend of the place and the ice cream. Very close to Cadorna station, offers both a classic ice cream to take away, both a moment of peace at the table. The tastes are different, all related to chocolate. In mid-winter is an oasis not to be missed: from freezing on the streets of Milan, you can warm up with a good hot chocolate, flavored wrap. In the summer, after a trip to the Sempione Park, you can enjoy the pleasure of an ice cream refreshing, always satisfying. The prices are affordable and worth enjoy this little luxury.

Cream ice cream: chocolate with different flavors added to the special (rum, orange etc..) And the classic taste of cream. Try the pistachio, the mozzarella and dark chocolate.

Fruit Ice cream: a few but still good, especially the strawberry and lemon.

Other: Hot chocolates are famous with milk or dark chocolate. Add the cream, grab a table and drown all the problems in these creamy cioccolate.

GELATERIA ETNEA

Comment: Still in the Città Studi, this ice cream shop is, along with Gelato Elio Bigoni and Gaia, to that group of crowded and "hasty" shop typical of a study area. There are always plenty of custumers as is located on the corner between Via Ampere and Via Pacini, roads frequented by students of the Polytechnic and State University. The ice cream doesn't aim to be excellent, however, the tastes are more than average. The place is quite badly decorated and very unwelcoming. The client is served very roguhly and inside the shop there are no places where have sit.

Cream and fruit flavors: no exceptional taste. Tried stracciatella and hazelnut, good, wild berries and strawberry acceptable.

Other: granite

Where: corner of Via Via Pacini and Ampere

Cost: € 1.70 cone two flavors, price € 15 per kilo, small grains € 2.50, € 3.50-grain.

GELATERIA FREDDO GELATO

Comment: Freddo Gelato is very well known in his neighborhood and is frequented mainly by an audience of aficionados. A stone's throw from the arch of peace is then located in a strategic position: anyone can, as a matter of fact, have an ice cream and walk to the nearby Sempione Park in a few minutes. But not only the area is overcrowded when it comes to ice cream, but also 15 minutes walking distance the famous Massimo del Gelato, considered by many the best of Milan. If so, than Gelateria Freddo Gelato would be immediately after. The interiors are simple and made more welcoming by the spotted walls, then there are benches outside where you can stop to slowly enjoy your ice cream.
Cream and fruit ice cream: the number of flavors is the average, the fruit flavors don't stand out but there are very tempting tastes as creamy, the taste of all fiordilattes, coffee and nutellone.

Other: the cone is the cookie one, better than the wafer.

Cost: € 2 the cone two flavors, 16 euro per kg
